COSC 410LA F25 Lab 2: K-means Clustering

Introduction

The purpose of this lab is to introduce you to k-means clustering and its uses. By completing the lab, you will demonstrate that you understand:

• how to fit a k-means model with sklearn
• how to find a good k
• how to use k-means as part of a semi-supervised learning setup

Provided Files

• Lab2.ipynb

Work through Lab2.ipynb with your partner(s). Then submit Lab2.ipynb with the cell outputs saved to Gradescope. You only need to submit one copy (as you can add group members on gradescope).
